Hina, who has been awarded Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award 2018 for Best Entertainer for Reality Show (Bigg Boss) wore a saree for the function. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress looked breathtakingly beautiful as she made her entry to the award function.

Hina loves to dress up and which girl doesn't. While playing the TV's quintessential bahu, Hina faced some limitation in experimenting with her fashion. It was after participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss, the actress started expanding her fashion choices.

Earlier in an interview, Hina said: "Fashion is about expressing your identity, showing someone who you are through your fashion choices and using your clothes to tell someone something about you. I suppose for some people clothing is just about comfort or utility, but for me it’s about expressing myself''.

Other television stars who received the prestigious award included Jennifer Winget, Karan Patel, Vikas Gupta, etc. While Winget won the Best Actress Drama award for her portrayal of antagonist Zoya in popular Sony TV’s show Beyhadh, Karan Patel won Best Actor (Male) award for Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Vikas Gupta was honoured with Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Rohan Mehra won People's Choice Award.
